This dance theatre piece follows the teachings of L'nu (Mi'kmaw) women carrying a fire ember through the winter season - three moons of winter. Legends, star stories, and contemporary dance expresses the harsh realities of living off the land in a long ago Mi'kma'ki winter.

Stage adaptation and premiere will be at Neptune Theatre, Kjipuktuk (Halifax)

November 12-24, 2024
